The leader of Jamaat-e-Islami has said that if the demands are not accepted, the scope of the sit-in may be widened. He has also made it clear that the sit-in and negotiations will continue together.

Amir Jamaat-e-Islami: If the government did not accept our demands, did not give relief to the people, did not reduce the electricity prices, did not rein in the ICPs, did not remove the salary tax, did not remove the levy imposed on the web, did not remove the petrol levy. If so, this sit-in will remain here and will continue to grow. They will say that brothers, talk to us like good children, postpone the sit-in, and then we will form a committee.

This committee will continue to talk. We will see and then we will say again that if we will come for a sit-in, Shahbaz Sharif should not stay in this complacency. Now the simple thing is that if you negotiate, the sit-in will also go together and the negotiations will also go together.

They will not back down from their demands. They should end the sit-in and form the march. Refrain from getting confused in the negotiation committees. All unite and take your right. Jamaat-e-Islami also put 10 demands before the government, a 50% discount on 500 units of electricity, abolition of petroleum levy, and reduction in the prices of essential goods.
